DEFENDING THE HOLY TRINITY FROM THE THE OLD TESTAMENT BY VIGIL UCHE
The fourth method most Christians usually apply in defending the Mystery of the Holy Trinity when faced with question like: How is it possible for three persons to exist in one?
Is God the Father not greater than God the Son and God the Holy Spirit?
If there is God the Son There must be God the mother, and so many other likely questions about the Mystery of the Holy Trinity that are still today unclear and hard for some Christians to answer is through what happened in the baptism of Jesus Christ.
This is where some Christians refer the enquirer to the incident that took place at the baptism of our lord Jesus Christ in the new testament of the Holy Bible in Matthew 3 vs. 16 and 17 where the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit of God descended on Jesus Christ like a dove and a voice from heaven said “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”. From the story of the ancient Greek gods you will believe with me that gods are jealous and the fight among each other but in the case of the Holy Trinity they are one and they are equal, God the son came down to earth to fulfill a purpose immediately he was fully baptized and anointed for that purpose God the Holy Spirit came down in form of a dove and rested on his head to show that they are one and that he is aware of his mission while God the Father spoke from heaven confirming that they three of them are three persons in one God.
